Why Testimonies Cause Us To Be Hungry?
Hungry - Day 21
"And they have defeated him by the blood of the Lamb and by their testimony. And they did not love their lives so much that they were afraid to die." Revelation 12:11
Perhaps the greatest Kingdom appetite stimulant is the power of testimony. Testimonies tell us that what we hope for is real and has been experienced by others. Testimonies prove what we see in our spirit. Testimonies inspire us to believe and encourage us to continue.
Testimonies remind us that the Kingdom is real through the accomplished work of Jesus on the cross (the blood of the lamb), the Words of God that we believe in our heart and declare with our mouth (our testimony), and our willingness to press into the Kingdom's reality no matter what the price (not loving our lives unto death).
Testimonies cause us to believe when we see others run the race and win.
Testimonies activate our faith.
We are strengthened when we see others live out their faith in real time.
Your hunger for God is all you need to find him and enter the realities of his glorious Kingdom, here on the earth. For all who hunger and thirst for his righteousness will be filled with his presence.
Challenge: We are back to our original question, how hungry are you? I challenge you to seek the Lord with all your heart, mind, soul and strength for all the days of your life.
