What Is The Glory Of The Lord?
Hungry - Day 20
"... in unison when the trumpeters and the singers were to make themselves heard with one voice to praise and to glorify the LORD, and when they lifted up their voice accompanied by trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and when they praised the LORD saying,"He indeed is good for His lovingkindness is everlasting," then the house, the house of the LORD, was filled with a cloud, so that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud, for the glory of the LORD filled the house of God." 2 Chronicles 5:13-14.
The glory of the Lord is his presence. It is his manifest spirit. God's glory is the physical demonstration of his love.
God created us to dwell within it.
When in his manifest presence of love, no law that can stand against it, no sickness can stay, no disease prevail, no addiction stronger, no shame remains, and no sadness exist.
Only God's love remains when you are in his manifest presence.
You can definitely feel it, and know when you've entered it. It's like the atmosphere shifts. Some people fall down as if a shock wave just passed over them. Others are bowed down under the presence because you feel the actual physical weight of his presence.
And once you've experienced it, you are never satisfied outside of it again. You know there is more and you want it. You'll do anything to get it and remain in it.
Experiencing the actual manifest presence of a living God is not supposed to be a rare occurrence. Dwelling and operating in and through the very real presence of the living God is what we were created for.
We are the living temple of a living God and that's why we hunger for his presence. We are not complete apart from it.
"Do you not know that you are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in you?" I Corinthians 3:16.
Challenge: If you will allow the Holy Spirit to live in you, he will work with you to put your life in order from the inside out, but you have to unlock each room and give him entrance.
