ARE YOU HUNGRY?
Hungry - Day 1
"Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness for they will be filled." (Matthew 5:6)
God searches the earth for those who want to know him. Proverbs 8:17 says, "I love those who love me, and those who seek me find me."
This devotional is for anyone who is curious about God, and wonder if it's all real or not. It's also for those whose heart is broken and dry and without hope. Finally, it's for anyone who wants to know God more; I mean, really know him.
Are you hungry?
Hunger to know who God really is, is all he's ever asked of us. When we seek him, we find him, and when we find him and start to experience his incomprehensible love for us, we are never the same.
Challenge: Set aside time each day to read your Bible and talk with the Lord. Use these devotions as a springboard for your conversations. If you've never done this before it may seem a bit strange, but I guarantee it won't take long before your relationship with Jesus grows stronger and more intimate than you thought possible.
